Coming-of-Age Day

The second Monday of January is
a Japanese holiday / Coming-of-Age Day
which honors young people who have reached
the age of 20 as new members of adult society.

Last year, my daughter had reached the age of 20.
So I took commemorative pictures of her
dressed in furisode, which is a traditional formal kimono
for unmarried women at Japanese Garden in Tokyo

I'm happy to hear such compliments.
    The kimono makes everyone graceful.
    Please Try it on!

Usually, she wears jeans, boots and
a down jacket to school, and she
    has a merry disposition.
