古いさびしい空家の中で

椅子が茫然として居るではないか。

In a Vacant House deserted with Age,
A Chair is standing in blank dejection.

その上に腰をかけて
編物をしてゐる娘もなく
暖炉に坐る黒猫の姿も見えない。

I can't find a Girl
Knitting at there,
I can't even find a Black Cat
staying on a Fireplace.

白いがらんどうの家の中で
私は物悲しい夢を見ながら
古風な柱時計のほどけて行く
錆びたぜんまいの響を聴いた。

I stand in Lightened Void Room
in my Melancholy Dream.
From a Timeworn Wall Clock,
I hear the noise
Rusty Springs are rewinding.

At Yamashita Park

Marine Tower

At 106 meters high, it is one of the tallest inland lighthouses in the world.
It will temporarily close as a sightseeing spot on Monday,
December 25th, 2006 and be turned over to the City of Yokohama.
Repairs will be made after that and it is scheduled to be reopened

in 2009, which is the 150th anniversary of the opening of the port.
